Scammed when trading

New system still needs improvement. Was spam buying nightmare maps and I got no warning that the map price differed. 30 div scam and end of league for me.

Put a confirmation on every map over 1 div and maybe on all other Items over 5 div. God I hate scammers. Loved this league.

Check what you buy. You only scam yourself.

I have a few tricks up my sleeves hope it will help your next venture.
1. Stash your valuable currencies into guild stash if you have a solo guild or small trusted group guild before mass purchasing.
2. Put the price you want in the regex, just "5 chaos" for example, will filter out the div scam. This however will not help if they put 555 chaos, so still, either slow down to check the price or only keep a small amount of chaos orb on you when doing mass purchases.

Thanks! Going to set up a shop tonight with some 30 divine bombs in there. Really good advice. My problem before was my conscience but you have convinced me. You only scam yourself is brilliant!!

Hope someone at GGG sees this.

A player pointed out that if you open and close Faustus trade pop-up then you no longer get the warning.

When this happened to me a lot of players were in the scammers hideout I was accessing Faustus in. Upon entering the scammers hideout Faustus did not automaticly pop up. I had to manually click him. Maybe this is why I did not get a warning.

Anyways the system is flawed right now. Many players have reached out to me after this happened and I have seen some big streamers also get landmined recently.

I got landmined last night by a nightmare map setup as well. I think its a combo of Faustus not popping up properly and possible a new item base type? Something is messed up. I saw sushi not get warned on a beast land mine and now I'm not the only person for a nightmare land mine? Just sucks. Dishonest players profiting just because I'm giddy having a good time with the league, wanting to prep my next mapping session zzzzzz.

These players are being PURPOSEFULLY dishonest to scam people. Is it my fault? Yea. Is it still terrible etiquette and a crappy thing to do? Yes.

Just gotta try to be more careful next time I guess. It'd be nice though to have the landmine protection automatically detect currency type shifts in addition to amount shifts for the entire "instance" that you're in the hideout.

To that landminer: I hope you stub your toe this morning and it doesn't feel better for at least 3 days and you can't wear your favorite shoes to an event you've really been looking forward to.

The fact that GGG allows this sort of scammer behavior, without reprimand of any kind, says a lot about their lack of authority over their players.

Yeah. It sounds exactly like what happened to me. Many players were spamm buying maps so you had no time to check every map. It was very chaotic.

Hopefully karma gets to these people but like you also say, there must be a protection system for this that can be improved and automated.

I cannot play as much as streamers so a 30-40 divine scam is absolutely devastating for me.
