Starfall Crater

Could there be a bug with some certain mechanic that prevents this from spawning?

I've had all Kalguuran nodes and been running with kalguuran scarabs since day 1, I'm getting Verisium deposits in basically every map and are yet to see a single crater. This certainly wasn't the case last league.

I mean it could be insanely bad rng, but just wanted to check if someone else is having the same experience. Maybe they nerfed spawnrate alot? Idk

from kingsmarch where your mappers are abducted, or your shipment is.

I only got one or two last league. also he used to drop a lot of gold and
a decent versium drop. he drops very little gold now and half as much verisum.

your only missing out on an achievement.

Just RNG. I got a few at standard already.

I am finding the spawn rate lower than usual as well. Definitely seems like mirage encounters are eating them quite often (and the downside of running lost shipment atlas node being that you can get 2 or 3 ore deposits converted in a map).

Been speed running strand since league start and still not found my Svalinn yet. I am level 99 and dropped 32 raw divs (levelled 97-99 almost exlusively in WHITE maps!). At least now I can run corrupted 8 mods for a bit of fun/juice whilst zooming.

For reference I have seen maybe half a dozen craters in total.

Are you running strand/beach? A buddy suggested running a different tileset like coves or dunes where the mirage area might be 'smaller' and you could see fairly quickly and easily on the minimap if a starfall crater spawned.

I have the mappers already 5 times abducted but 0 starfall craters while running ores.

I remember there was a bug in ritual league where one ritual type didn't appear to some people. I had to buy it because it just didn't show up the entire league, while some people on chat had this appear a few times per day.

Spawn rate are low.

But for some reason some people just catching it on random even without running 2x scarabs all Kalguur Nodes in the atlas.

Brother got him 3x times and got Svalinn from one of the kills.

He was not even running 2x scarabs maps.

Im running 2x scarabs from day 2 and got him only 4x times so far.

People speculate that the crater actually replaces a Verisium Ore Deposit in your map, essentially "upgrading" it to the bossfight arena. So you should try running with the atlas nodes to increase chance to have Verisium in your maps and see if you find it more.

People underestimate how low the spawn rate is and what this implies.
Human brain isn't really handling "random" outcomes that well.

1% chance will inherently put an expecation of getting something in 100 attempts. Which isn't true, as only 63 percent of people will see at least 1 drop after doing 100 attempts (on average).

Sometimes you get craters three maps apart, and then a dry streak of 60 maps with nothing. Specced with kalguur of course, where you consistently find a verisium ore in each map.

Just keep farming. It's double layered RNG. Craters are rare and shields from the boss are even rarer. 1 in 40.

9x Starfall Craters so far - 0x Svallin's.

My rng superior "as always" in terms of getting valuable items.

At the same time im watching one dude on twitch who get 2x Svallin's from 2x total kills.

Sometimes i wanna ask Mark Roberts or someone from lead designers to uncheck "no drops" checkbox on my acc settings.

10x Starfalls - same result.
