Where is the nameless seer?

Did GGG nerf the spawnrate? Over 100 maps and havent seen him once.

I hate that he is gatekeeping the "scry a map" - system. Especially with this spawn rate.

I ran over 120 T16 Defiled Cathedral maps, with all the different atlas tree and scarab combinations that people were suggesting online to increase my chances. He didn't appear once. He didn't appear in any of the mirages, either. It's such a joke!

You are faster just to spam t16s in your wanted location with rare div cards and hope for Nameless Seer Wishes from Mirage.

Thats how I did it.

Or you just farm the desired div card where it drops and if the seer appears you see it as a bonus and you can change the layout. It's not like Cathedral is a bad layout.

On top of that the Apothecary card is so rare that you can expect to never drop it after your scried. So, if you jsut want to farm Haunted Mansion or Dunes or whatever i would not bother to scry anything because it's not worth it 99% of times.

He has a chance to spawn whenever you fully clear a pack of inhabitant monsters (that can somewhat be around 3-6 in total per map I would randomly guess). For defiled cathedral that's a bit bad because you have to check every corner while you automatically get him at maps like Dunes every somewhat 10 maps because you most likely clear that map by accident.

I scryed Necropolis for Brother's Gift and it only took me about 30 maps. Nameless Seer has a chance to spawn on the final monster of a pack you kill. Packsize does nothing, only number of different monster packs in the map. So it could be scoured or rare or 8-mod, your chance is the same.

I just did alch&go with 3x Incursion Scarab of Invasion and 2x Domination Scarabs to add a few shrines for extra packs. These scarabs are cheap and add a LOT of monster packs.(although I think the incursion one adds templar dudes from act 5 with proximity shield and rippy abilities, which can be annoying to fight especially in a tight-corridor map like Necropolis lmao) I got 2x Reflecting Mist before he spawned, but he eventually did spawn. And there's always the wish for nameless seer, if you get lucky. Try out this scarab combo and see how it works for you.
