The animated guardian has his weapon and shield reversed

Good day,
is it normal? I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, according to pob I should do more damage if I try to assign the weapon to the AG and visually the weapon is in offweapon, putting the shield on I thought of moving it but it simply went to the right.
EDIT:I've just discovered that there are no penalties of any kind for attacks with the player's off-hand weapon... so this is just a visual thing i guess.
