Pyre support does not work with shield skills with a wand equipped

The new exceptional pyre support requires a melee attack to trigger it.

Using a shield skill like 'shield crush' with a sceptre equipped will trigger it.
Swapping to a wand/shield will prevent it from triggering.

Other "melee" effects like fortify can still be triggered with this setup, so it appears that pyre support is bugged.

Also experiencing this. Hope this gets fixed, shield charge should be mele in this context as far as i understand.

+1, Shield Crush of the Chieftain triggers the pillars, Link shows it as usable, but the Damage doesnt seem to convert
