How do you use non-map items (ie chronicles) in map devices?

I cant figure out how to use non map items in map devices with the updated format... need tto get my incursion on

They have locations in the Atlas that you have to clear paths to as well. A lot of emphasis on clearing every map in the current rendition of the Atlas.

The nodes for these "non-map item" locations will all have the same appearance around them, and I believe hovering over the related item with the Atlas open will highlight its location. If accessing the map device, right-clicking the item will focus the location and add the item to the map device.

For example, for Chronicles of Atzoatl: location is in the lower-right quadrant, off of the Necropolis map. It's a straight shot right from Promenade.

How about for divine vessel and blood filled vessel? Those just go in the scarab slots? I'm not up to it yet, but someone was having trouble the other day and asking about it.
