Issues running Beachhead maps in 3.28 Standard

The patch notes for 3.28 mentioned that Beachhead Maps could no longer be obtained, but I have not been able to run the ones I have from last league. There are Beachhead sections of the map tab, and my existing red Beachhead maps have become 'Beachhead (Tier 15)' items but I cannot use them in the map device. Is this intended?

I guess this being one of the many things that still exist in Standard, but became useless with 3.28. I still have some leaguestones from legacy league (2.6, 2017)!

Well, they should have deleted the items so people can't pawn the maps off to unsuspecting victims for hard-earned currency. If they are going to go as far as to say no more of an item, they should remove it from the game entirely so shenanigans can't be had.
