Did vaal orbs get proportionally nerfed or buffed?

With the ground loot changes, I know they said regal and exalt got proportionally buffed, and it is noticeable. How about some of the other ones further down the list?

I'm in early maps, dropped 4ex, 16 regals, a fair bit of chaos, but less than 10 vaal. I'm wondering if this is similar for others or just my sample?

Probably that is about the same as it would of been, or possibly even buffed a bit, from in other leagues, but proportionally, 2-1 vaal-ex is a fair change.

Wondering if I need to be a bit more frugal with saving them for red maps, or I'm just encountering some rng with them being proportionally lower to the other currencies. Should be pretty easy to get them elsewhere, but hasn't really been necessary for me to pay attention to that in previous leagues, other than ruthless.

I think overal the changes seem pretty good. I've been using ex rather than hoarding them. Not quite as exciting when they drop, but functionally it's better, and seems about the right rate to me. Especially since there is other currency like DIV and above that is still rare.
