Shaders or networking performance

Hi everyone/anyone

Despite the server trouble on launch I have enjoyed 3.28 immensely, until Sunday morning european time.

Generally running a ping at around 35ms and I have had no problems with any sort of FPS or ping lag at all. Then today, I can barely move the character in a map, sometimes when I do it freezes for a bit and then everything that happened gets fast forwarded for lack of a better term.

My setup is:

Ryzen 7 3800X3D
32GB RAM 6000MHz
RTX 4070 TI
and running it off and nvme drive.

I have tried to clear the shader cache via nvidia control panel and after a reboot set it to 100GB size. (That whole, disable -> reboot -> renable at 100GB thing)

My buddy experienced the same thing happen as well. We are living in the same town. We do not experience this if we switch to characters that are in the campaign.

If anyone knows what is going on, please help, thank you.
Tier 16s we running fine yesterday, and then today we are faced with this frustration.

It certainly sounds like a networking-based issue.

Could you post a link to an MTR log on Pastebin?

I have the same issue. It was ok couple days ago and now the game is unplayable.
same problem i also made a post...

it sad to see the game degrading over the year , they really need to find a fix to the whole shader problem ... it is not our hardware ... other game are working fine...
Same issue here.

Ryzen 9 9950x3d w/5090 and shader cache size set to unlimited. Shader caches located on a 4TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

Network is dedicated fiber 1Gb up & down, usually less than 8-10ms in this game, and any other game.

Especially prevalent in Mirage maps, after spawning a lot of monsters. The game just slows to a crawl when monsters spawn on the screen after doing things like opening a strongbox. Shader bar spikes, which causes network to spike.
same issue here..

also Ryzen 9 9950x3d with a 5090...
when the game becomes crowded with allot happening the latency goes up.
when i;m idle its fine @ 5ms.
tried allot of things. disabled all extra software like fireware or virusscanner
but its still the same.

could use some help here... not really playable like this
same issue here.
The game is also completely unplayable for me the past 2 days. I blow up a large pack with explodes and the game just goes absolutely haywire with constant latency spikes from 300-1000. Flatlines when I stand still. I have a 9950x3d and 4090 and am on NA servers
I am having the same issue as many others described here... I made a pastebin thingy for you for a bad instance I had: https://pastebin.com/UEhJ59Ym

Most days since league launch, these performance problems affect almost every instance I create. I have to some extent have success with switching from the default EU gateway to the Texas gateway on the log-in screen, but it is certainly very inconsistent. The problem is like many describe; you get into an area, you attack mobs, and game comes to crawling halt while latency just goes on a linear ramp in the F1 graph. Suddenly, game either disconnects you or 'catches up'.

I live in Denmark, have giga internet, and this problem is inconsistent. When the problem occurs, it usually lasts for some time (from 10 minutes, to multiple hours) and then is seemingly 'fixed'. The issue is only noticeable for me while playing PoE. The experience of the issue is the same/very similar to past experiences over the past 7-8 years I've been playing PoE.

I would really like it, if GGG would give some official response or status update on the EU server problems... I know that past posts have been made, but these are so old by now. I feel left in the dark on this problem, even though I am actively looking online for this...
