Mirage League Mechanic 5-Link Rewards Not Working?

I read a few places that completing the league mechanic in act 5 slave pen and act 6 twilight strand would grant you a 5-link armor (in each). I just ran both and didn't receive the reward for either one. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this not guaranteed?

I've just been doing a test run and I didn't get them either.

This was the case in 3.27. Breaches in those areas dropped 5L guaranteed. In 3.28 you start encounter breaches only in Mud Flats, so irrelevant now. Mirages never had this feature.
