Town Portal

I don't understand.

30 years of arpg.
30 years of town portal
13 years since poe launched.......

how do you still get the basic concept so wrong?

So far today
played for 90 minutes
used 5 town portal scrolls
was unable to return through a total of 5/5

I simply do not understand.
my internet speeds are fine (200/40)
my pc is fine
yet, 100% of the time cannot return through a town portal scroll.
I can get to town, I cannot return to where i came from.

why?
how?
what do i do?

Is the portal still up but you cant go through it? Or portal gone?

I've had both of these happening a bit recently while playing campaign, more than usual. Nothing like on every portal though, and not at all today.

Sometimes they do seem to disappear very quickly. I'm assuming that is the instance closing. Unsure what happens when the portal is there but can't be interacted with.
