Synthesised Instability

ok so it tells us that the region might be bisected and the maps might be deleted hence the juice from astrolabe is lost.
That makes Mark`s statement from reveal is a lie, because I indeed CANNOT (able, but I wouldnt) run the same over and over again because I have two ways: 1) I deallocate the keystone, run some maps to prevent bisection later, allocate the keystone, run desired map 3-4 times. Also I lose the juice from later astrolabe buffs. 2) I run desired map anyway with keystone allocated which makes me lose the most juice from astrolabe in most cases So basically either I still run shitty maze maps with phased bosses (dont forget accocating/dealocating the keystone quality of life) or completely deprive myself of top-end astrolabe buffs Can we just make it so it doesn`t remove the bisected region? Or make keystone smart-delete maps without bisecting? We can make it cost freaking 50 atlas points, I would still run it. The ability to run 1 map layout is very important. We dont have it on poe2 abomination of the game and we had in in poe1, but not anymore I guess. This is very sad. I was really excited about the league after reveal and after the words that I would be able to run the same map again and again but now I am disappointed. And dont tell me that I still able to - I get it - but it is not the same without full astrolabe juice, it is not possible psychologically to deliberately deprive oneself of juice. I just wanted to bump this.
I play Ritual so map layout is crucial. I want to run City Square, but I literally average like 3-4 maps per shaped region instead of 7-8 because Synthesised Stability frequently amputates 3-4 maps at a time. My most recent shaped region went from 8 maps to 4 after the first one I ran. I understand GGG wanting some penalty for this playstyle, but might I recommend at the very least giving a higher weight to maps at the fringes so that it does this less often? Thanks |
