You need to feel the WEIGHT of the wisdom scroll exile.
Still sane exile?

That would not be a good change, perhaps the new generation would like that but most of us here are oldschool D2 veterans.

I still think the best idea would be for items to drop with half of their mods unidentified and the other half identified. Your loot filter would highlight good potentials, and you'd actually end up with some rare items you actually want to pick up and identify - unlike the present.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

Unidentified items lead to a fun little mechanic where you can set up a casino in your hideout and sell unidentified items.
Personally I think its stupid to gimp the entire game just because of some gimmicks. Last Epochs identified items allow for great item filter features, and if you would ask me what I would like more - a meme casino at my hideout or functional item filtering ? I'd take the filtering any day. Discuss ideas, not people.

" The unidentified (tier X) system kinda tries to do that, but personally i think its still meh. Discuss ideas, not people.

" Stay a while and click me twice exile. Discuss ideas, not people.

" thats a great idea and i feel if we got better ground loot i would not mind it at all Remove (One attempt only mechanics) in this game full of lag spikes, one shots and random disconnects.

You don't actually want this change in the game, because you haven't thought about how rare items would be rebalanced if they dropped identified.
Right now, T1 rolls on rares are able to roll decently often because GGG knows that more than 99% of the time they do, it'll be on an item which is left unidentified on the ground. If the change was made for ALL items to drop identified, then balance necessitates making those rolls much, much, much less common, which also makes them harder to hit via crafting. We're talking, multiple orders of magnitude less common. Changes aren't made in a vacuum. |
