Doedre's Undoing Lineage Support

According to the in-game tooltip, Deodre's Dark Design (which is the effect of the Doedre's Undoing support) is a hit.

Would this trigger Emboldening Lead (the notable that gives +damage to minions if you've hit recently)? I am unsure if it can because it says Doedre's Dark design is a hazard. Do hazard hits count as being caused by you?

Does anyone know how to test this?
