You can debate how realistic a concern this might be - but I could understand if they were reticent to effectively incentivize actions they don't wish to have occur again in future.

They need to absolutely make some compensation, some bonus, whatever, this is absolutely so atrocious, lost another map fragments loots and all again during a boss atziri fight, this is insane.

Server instance crashes are not a new thing, they have always happened. Maybe more so lately if indeed there has been a rise in DDoS attacks. Who knows.
