Loot not showing. Parameter problems

I can't see loot drops unless I click on the left stick. Once it shows up, it dissappears after a few seconds. Repeat left stick click. Also walking away (say 5m) triggers loot to dissappear. On xbox. Just talked to a buddy and it's happening to him as well
