Is poe2 allowed to run two clients on one device?

I want to leave it on for trading standard character and play hardcore character.

You are allowed to run 2 clients on 1 device, however you need 2 separate accounts, as you cannot login twice with the same account. What you want to do (run one Standard and one HC character) would not work.
