Unable to pick up items

I hit a delirium killed a few monsters and couldn't pick up a regal, then did a strongbox could not pick up anything from that, nor any other item after that.

I did not even have the prompt to pick up stuff, it showed up on the strongbox but not on items.

Also any time I do an essence there is a a few seconds where I cannot pick up items.
