HELP! Can't use any scarabs in map device

My scarabs aren't being consumed on my Sentinel league character. On standard everything is fine. Did I miss something preventing me from using the scarab? Can anyone help?

For people coming here after the date I post this, the passive skill you are looking for is now called "Unwavering Vision"
|

One day they'll make it so the warning will change from "you can't use that scarab with the map" to "Unwavering Vision prevents the use of scarabs with maps"
