Delve menu. Animate guardian

Why can I access my the menu to buy flares/dynamite etc from inside the delve mine but not actually able to buy items while driving ?

Is/can there a way to view animate guardian stats, equipment etc in game? Or view what spectre you have? Or view spectres stats in the “wild”?
