Life leech aura build?

Hello, I just started playing a scion and this is my first one. I decided to go for an aura build with a lot of auras and life leech because I think it suits my playstyle best and I need help with that. So what is a good combination of aura gems that gives good damage and survivability? Is there a gem that gives life leech or that effect is found only on weapons? And what passive effects do I need for this build?
